When the pandemic started, we created a video series to help women tackle working from home. Our videos focus on everything from setting boundaries to work/life balance (follow and DM us on Instagram @shopbminton and we'll send you a video).
But, it’s one thing to give advice, and it’s another to fold these same best practices into our own busy lives. Were we following our own advice?
We picked one of our videos (physical wellness) and followed our own advice. The results: we paced while on phone calls, stretched throughout the day, perched and sat crossed legged for our hips and joints, and took active breaks like walking the dogs or riding bikes for our sanity. But, we probably didn’t get up enough, squat, or take those micro breaks that help your brain refocus. So, just like you, we’ll continue to work on healthy work-at-home habits. We would write more, but it’s time for us to stand up.
