Two women running a small business

As a women-owned small business we celebrate each one of our loyal customers who shop small, buy ethically, and support us as a self-care gift box company working to support other women.

But what does it mean to be a startup small business with a two-woman team? Well, it means the two of us, Leah and Eileen <yep, there’s just two of us> are web developers, photographers, graphic designers, social media staff, warehouse crew, marketing experts, product developers, product buyers, and so much more.

Like so many of you in your careers and families, it means we plan, work hard, and we’re flexible and resilient. But being a women-owned business is more than just the day to day tasks. It also means that we collaborate seamlessly on projects, we support each other on tough days, and it means that we communicate with kindness and respect. We’re able to make our own decisions <many good, some bad>, and are accountable to ourselves. We follow our own path based on what’s most important to us -- purpose, happiness, and gratitude. So while 2020 has been a F-ing challenging year to found a small business, we’re not looking back, we have no regrets, and wouldn’t change a thing!
