5 ways to love your home office!

During the pandemic, more people than ever are working from home. But whether you work from a nook in a small apartment or have a dedicated office, how do you create the home office space you love?

Let’s get started!

  1. Cue the art and color. If you have a dedicated office space, consider adding an accent wall in a color you love and hang some of your favorite prints. This allows you to focus on something that makes you happy when you’re deep in thought.
  2. Organize your office for efficiency. Making sure that your office <and computer stuff> is organized in the way that works for you is super important. Can you find that file when you need it? How about that favorite pen? Investing time in organization will yield huge returns in productivity.
  3. Focus on comfort. Whether it’s a comfy office chair or a standing desk, consider prioritizing what makes you feel good. Additionally, don’t forget to move. Try stretch breaks, pacing while taking calls, or taking the pup on a brisk walk during your lunch break.
  4. Add light to your space. Light improves mood and boosts energy. Consider facing your desk toward a window to get a little natural light on your work space. If you don’t have an abundance of natural light <or even if you do> try adding a desk or floor lamp to illuminate your office.
  5. Find what inspires you. Sometimes you just need to take a deep calming breath and look for inspiration. Consider adding small objects, toys, or even a brain teaser to your desk to help you find that spark. Looking for inspiration? Check out the b.mindful box that includes a beautiful glass orb <with a tiny stand> and candle that is sure to add a little joy to your home office.

In short, a happy, comfy, organized office that you love will reward you with productivity, focus, and inspiration.
